Food Review: Think Thin Protein Bar

Hey y’all! It has been awhile since I have written a food or drink review because I pretty much have an idea of what healthy foods I like to eat. However, for the sake of the blog I thought it was time to try something new. I recently got a Kroger card (best idea ever, go get one if you don’t have one) and there was big sale on Think Thin granola bars. I’ve seen these bars quite a bit of the interwebs , and they are actually first protein bar I’ve seen advertised on television. Based on the commercials they seem like they are “designed” for the busy woman who wants something sweet, healthy, & guilt free. I want this too! So the commercials over time peaked my interest for these bars. I ended up getting Peanut Butter Fudge and Brownie Crunch. Okay! Let’s start with peanut butter fudge, at first bite it taste EXACTLY like a Reece’s peanut butter cup, but after a couple chews my taste buds were able to taste the protein powder, it wasn’t that bad though. Next, the brownie fudge, at first bite it tasted EXACTLY like a moist baked brownie but once again after awhile the protein taste hit and it wasn’t as enjoyable at first taste. So as for taste these so taste decent, but the protein powder is obviously in there which I guess is a good and bad thing. Think Thin bars contain 20g of protein which I was quite surprised about for such a small bar. The price wasn’t bad either, I got 4 of these for $5.00, not sure how much they cost individually. I would buy these again, so overall I would give Think Thin Protein Bars a 4 out of 5. They get a rather high rating regardless of the protein-y taste because my sweet tooth was indeed satisfied and I did feel full, so these bars do as advertised. That’s all I have for this weeks food review, of course you can find out more informations about Think Think Protein Bars at http://thinkproducts.com .
